Adventures on the Sailing Vessel Moorea
Fiji
|

|
Suva: Checking into Fiji was easy and the agents that boarded Moorea were friendly and professional with 2 representing customs, 1 agriculture, 1 health and 1 immigration, our boat was sitting low in the water. Our fee for boarding the vessel was split with another boat and we were charged $53(Fiji). We discovered that if we had checked into Lautoka, there wouldn’t have been a boarding fee.

Suva Prison had concrete borders topped with barb wire and a mural covering the length of the boundary. Situated next to the busy road gives a glimpse into the neglected interior buildings persuading viewers that crime does not pay.

One of many small class rooms.
The student’s mothers provided refreshments and pastries after the program was completed. Here they are protecting the food from the flies.
Sharing our refreshments with us is Liti. She teaches at the school and answered many of our questions.
